  So about two months ago we gained two lovely bunnies. We didn’t know how much work that bunnies would be, so we have been gradually improving there living space. Currently they have an inside space, and an outside space. The inside space is only 38 inches long, and 22 inches high, so the bunnies do not like being in it much. The outside pen is 8 ft long, and 3 feet wide, so that have some more space to run around and such. All the bunny cages that I’ve seen are really small and expensive, and I read somewhere that you can make your own homemade cages. Which option is the best? We have enough space to make a decent-sized homemade cage, but it really depends on the cost.
  
  I am home-schooled, and my mom signs me up for a TON of activities, so I am often running around everywhere. I don’t have much time to spend with the bunnies, and I feel awful about it. I would let them run around in a room, but we have three dogs, two of which were bred to be herding dogs, so they really like trying to get at the bunnies. By the time October rolls around our schedule gets more reasonable, so by that time I’ll be able to spend more time with the bunnies. Will it be to late by that time? I read somewhere that bunnies hold grudges, and I don’t want them to hate me. i love them

  So as for caging there are two types of rabbit pens that people tend to use
  
  I actually have a mix of both for their main living area
  
  There’s c&c cages or pens

  Here’s one site about c&c cages but if you google c&c rabbit cage diy you’ll get loads of results
  
  Then there’s pens. Basically you
  Just get a dog pen or something called an x pen add some water proof floor to the bottom to protect your floor (vinyl tiles or matts or other options)
  
  Add some soft matts ot towels and toy’s litter box ect and good to go
  
  You csn even connect two pens for extra room

  Here’s a site with a couple of ideas for that!
  
  You could even put the two of then together so they have a nice ‘condo’ c&c cage so they can jump up on things and a pen attached to it with the c&c cage just left open so they have a nice run area. But with the dogs I guess you’d have to find a way to add a roof to that, unless they can’t jump the dog pen if you get a big one like that
  
  Can’t you just keep them in one room which is to remain closed all day so the dogs can’t get in?
  
  As for grudges I’m not sure
  
  I think my male rabbit blames me for his old bond mate padding away cause after that he got rather detached from me
  
  So I had to spend a lot of time re warming him up to me so I think they csn forgive you but it takes a while
