I honestly couldn’t care what breed he is, but I would like to know to notify the vets. So I brought Izzy off a woman who told me he was a giant continental cross female. He came from an accidental litter, and when I went to view him he was in a tiny cage with his mother and sibling, but I knew he was meant for me. I’ve been told, and as you can see from the photos,he’s not a giant. I’d like to know his breed so I can let his vet know, and so when people ask I don’t have to say “I know what he might be!”
He’s definitely not a giant breed, but I’m honestly not sure what he could be? Any suggestions would be helpful! The first photo is from when I got him at 10 weeks, the second was a few days ago.

Hello there Izzy is very cute, it’s tough to say for sure what breeds he might be, he does look quite a lot like a new zealand white, but that doesn’t mean he is one. I don’t think he is a giant breed, maybe a mix of but the ears aren’t large enough for a giant breed at his age in my opinion. Like I said, it’s tough to say for sure.

Aw how sweet. He still has that baby look about him.
Do you recall what the mother looked like? And her size? Was she also a ruby eye white (REW) rabbit and the other in the litter also?
It is hard to say on breed at this age. I agree possible new zealand white mix or florida white, which I think is pretty common.
For the vet office, they normally just what breed as an idea to the rabbits size dont they? So dwarf, non dwarf, giant, etc..

Cute!!! How old is he and any idea an approx weight? He def looks like NZ or NZ mix. Depending how big he gets, there could be some Flemish Giant in there too.

I agree. It looks like there’s some New Zealand in there.
