I just recently got a bunny about 9 weeks old last week and I just can’t seem to figure out the sex of the rabbit because A the fur is so fluffy it is covering it up and making it way too hard, B when I try to move the fur the poor bunny starts fidgeting around and leaves, and then we are back to A.

At that age, buns are notoriously difficult to determine gender. You’ll probably be better off waiting a while!

I agree with sarah, it’s unlikely you’d be much the wiser even if you were able to get a good glimpse. A male bunny’s testicles tend to drop from the age of 12 weeks and onwards.

You can give bunny a gender neutral name perhaps. Or choose two names so you have a backup in case the first name isn’t a good fit once you can tell the sex.

Lifeofmill on instagram had a new baby bunny named Prince…. a few weeks later she found out Prince was a girl so she’s now named Princess!!!!!! 😛 You can use a male or female version of a name 🙂
