Thanks, guys. I just brought him home. No answers. Vet suspects it’s repeatedly eating hay which is frustrating. He used to eat hay a lot until I got after him with the spray bottle and he stopped. Or so I thought. He must be doing it when we are not around because I don’t see him doing it. I insisted they let me take him home tonight. They were just monitoring poops and waiting for blood work. I can monitor him here and he will be less stressed. Hopefully, bloodwork results will come back tomorrow and will be okay. I’m sure it cost a fortune but I didn’t see the bill tonight. They think he might have to go back in, but crossing my fingers that is the end of it.

I super cleaned my house today and there is not a strand of hay to be found. I even did the bun condo’s complete sweep out and moved Bindi’s litter box to the back of his condo so Kyle can’t stick his paw in and grab hay. My Bridge Kitty Andy used to eat hay all the time and would just puke up hairballs and hay. Never caused him any problems. 

Thanks, guys. He had to go back to the vet and he’s still there now. The vet gave him an enema and found what she said looks like a big hairball, so maybe it’s not even hay that is the issue. His bloodwork came back and he’s actually having problems with his kidneys. Prognosis is guarded right now. I miss him so much.

Thanks guys. Very frustrating. The only thing that is keeping him at the vet right now is that he refuses to eat. But the food is renal food and it probably tastes like crap. I’m so sad. I miss him so much.

He’s home now. I picked him up tonight. He doesn’t have a full appetite back but here’s hoping that comes back soon. It’s not renal food as I thought but actually gastro food. I have some questions to ask the vet but didn’t get to talk to her tonight so she’s gonna call me tomorrow. He came home with like 5 meds.

He’s super stressed out right now, that was a long time at the vet. Hope a nice sleep in the bed with his Mom and Dad will help him relax.

Happy to report that Kyle is eating decent (I discovered he prefers the food soaked) and I was really happy that he pooped last night and tonight.  Happy Poop Dance!!! You rabbit peeps will all know what I mean….

My friend came by yesterday to do another Reiki session with him. He was suuuuupper relaxed….

He’s even more cuddly and lovey since he’s been back from the vet. Afraid to leave my side. He’s just the sweetest. 

Haha, yes he smiles for the camera a lot. He’s Mama’s special guy.
