I just had my 9 month dwarf rabbit neutered two days ago. When the vet called they said we could pick him up earlier than planned because he was up and eating and doing really well. But then they told us to keep him in his cage for a week. Now that it’s been a couple days, he is desperate to get out. He chews at the bars and every time we open the cage to feed him he jumps out and runs around until we catch him. He has been eating normally since we bright him home. He’s not even messing with the incision site. So my question is: let him out of the cage or keep him in there another week.
