My rabbit is just over 12 weeks and gets 3-4 tbs of pellets unlimited alfalfa hay and some Timothy hay. I have also started introducing veggies and his poop has not been runny at all. But today it was a little sticky when I picked it up.is this normal?

If it’s a singular poo, it could be you actually picked up one your rabbit may have been interested in eating. They have a distinctive look (little poos stuck together) and smell (very strong). Also, it may have been soaked in urine or something, making it sticky.

Some poos will have a slight oily coat to it. I believe these are more so territorial poos. Moist poo can also come from not eating enough hay, so a lot of the moisture is coming from drinking water and veggies.

If it happens more frequently, assess your rabbit’s eating habits and consult a vet.

            This is the poop guide:

They are pictures (warning: poop pictures) and informative explanations. It talks about what is “normal” and what is not.

Since you have only a description and no picture for us to examine this would be a way to have a comparison for you.
