I have a large full body mirror leaning against my wall in my bedroom, but my bunny loves to go behind it and tear away at the paper backing on it. I can’t block his entrance or move the mirror, and i’ve even put a canvas behind it to block his view of the paper backing, but he still goes for it. What can I do to stop this?

I know that they love tearing paper, and I have plenty of news papers for him to tear into as much as he wants, but for some reason he ALWAYS goes for this particular thing.

Unfortunately I think removing access is the only fool-proof way to get him to stop!

Can you hang mirror on the wall (preventing him from being able to get behind it)?

Or perhaps you could get some cloth (fleece, canvas, or something else sturdy) and attach it to the back of your mirror to cover the paper part? That way he will not be able to rip away paper anymore. If you are short on materials, what might work for me would be to tape up the bottom area with duct tape. But Thor is not much of a chewer, you would want to make sure he will not ingest any tape!

im not sure why i haven’t thought to cover it before aha … but sammy is definitely a chewer so I’m not sure what I’ll use. Thanks for the idea!
