I have a 10 (almost 11) week old bunny. He is eating Alfalfa hay and some Timothy Hay to make his gut stronger when I start giving him vegetables. I was wonder what age I can start giving him meadow hay,oat hay, bonical hay and orcherd grass. I was to give him a tiny bit of each every day so he can have a better variety and cause I’ve read rabbits benefit from giving these hays. He would get this with his other hay Timothy or alfalfa. Also what age can I stop feeding afalfa completely?

He can have any of those varieties of hay now. Usually, alfalfa is stopped when rabbits are around 6 months old. It can still be given to adult rabbits in small quantities as an occasional treat, although some people may think it shouldn’t be given to adults at all. About once a week, I sprinkle a tiny bit of alfalfa over my bunnies’ hay (which is usually a blend of 2 or more kinds of hay).
