  I put bug spray on myself to repel mosquitoes while I was outside and didn’t give it much thought before picking up my bunnies later that evening. It was about 4 hours after spraying that I picked the boys up. After realizing this I had my sister help me wipe down their fur with a damp cloth to get the residue off. Is this enough? I want to make sure they stay safe and healthy.

  I think you should be just fine. By that time I would think the spray would have dried and “soaked in” enough that it shouldn’t be a problem with basic handling. What are the bug spray ingredients?
  Just keep an eye on them-eating/drinking/pooping, etc.

  It’s Muskol so there’s deet in it. I’m not sure what else there is in it. I could barely smell it on my skin anymore. I just worry so much. Bunnies can be so fragile.
