  So I was trying to determine wether or not I have a true netherland dwarf bunny or false one, what would the weight of a true netherland dwarf be at 6 weeks old?

  by false dwarf are you referring to bubs? any dwarf over 3 ib is not considered a true dwarf.

  Mini is 1.6 kg, he is a full-grown adult, and I’m assuming he is too big to be a true dwarf?

  Yeah I know that, I was just wondering what the weight of a “true” dwarf should be around 6 weeks old

  Wick is a true Netherland Dwarf born early November 2016, making him a little over 5mo now. Wick is a runt though; he was about half the size of the rest of his litter when we received him, so if your numbers align with below, you have a really small bun. If they’re slightly higher, my guess is your rabbit is on track to being a true dwarf. Aside from weight, you will need to examine characteristics. They say true NDs will not have ears longer than 2-2.5in, and the look like a round ball, rather than just a small rabbit (no real long, snout face at all). They have big eyes and their coat is a roll-back (I believe it’s called), which means if you brush it the opposite way, it will slowly go back to position, rather than flying right back into place.
  
  When I received him at 9w (so mind that Wick is older than yours atm) and for a couple weeks following that, Wick weighed between 400-550g, I believe. Currently, he is 714g (as of two weeks ago), so 0.714kg or 1.5lbs.
  
  Nothing wrong with a false dwarf or a non-dwarf breed if that ends up being your scenario. All bunz are great bunz.

  Dont know how much they should weigh at six weeks, but my Bombur (full grown) is a true nethie dwarf and weighs about 2lbs. His ears are right at 2inches. All true dwarves have flat faces

  yup, most breeders end up getting rid of the bubs because you can’t breed two regulars together. its sad which is why I have my BUB who is in my profile pic.
  
  honestly it shouldn’t matter if your bun is a true dwarf or not. bunnies are beautiful no matter their size.

  It didn’t really matter to me, I was just interested in finding out wether or not she was “true” or not. Of course I love her no matter what!

  It’s very hard to go by weight at that age because growth rates can vary quite a bit. Your best bet is to wait until she’s full grown.

  Her ears are actually shorter than they look in there, might just be the picture that’s making them look longer
