Hi all,
this cordage is extremely useful for toys, cardboard castles and even as an edible treat. You will need something called Raffia, it’s a long paper like string made from palm leaves.
Step 1- straighten a piece out
2- hold the two ends together with one hand to make a loop
3- put your index finger of the other hand against the inside of the loop end and pull taught
4- twirl your index finger to twist the two strands together as many times as possible
5- still holding both ends, bring them together. It should now twist on itself to make 4 strands,
6- twist as much as possible and there you have it, a length of tough cordage that can tie most things
Autumn loves her cardboard boxes but in zooming in and out of them they get knocked over, so I punched holes in the box and threaded this cordage through to tie them solidly together. Now she and can all she likes and it will stay together.

Hope you find this useful.
