Need help! I noticed in a past 2 weeks my bunny has been acting a little strange, nothing concerning. One day I looked at him and I saw what I thought what’s him having hiccups and that happened again today. So I went online to do a little bit of research and watched a couple of videos of bunnies having hiccups and it looked nothing like what my bunny was doing this previous two times. Only his bum was moving and I think he’s having seizures can you please help me? He is a rescue so I don’t know what breed he is and he is probably about 12 weeks old if that helps. Sorry for my bad English, I don’t know it well..

No problems with the English, don’t worry

Apart from the “hiccups” how is he? eating/drinking/pooping fine? Did he already have a vet visit?

If it looked like a seizure, it mightve been a seizure. You should bring your bun to a vet to be checked out

Definitely get him checked out, if anything it’ll give you peace of mind My Buttercup went through a phase where she got the hiccups once a day, every day and then it seemed to stop. She’s only had them twice in the last couple of weeks. When she hiccups she’s usually laying down, and it’s just her head that bops a bit and after 20 or so seconds it stops.

The vet said it’s all good, I was a little overreacting as always with any of my pets. At least he is ok, that’s all that matters ?
                    Thank you all again ?

That’s great news, and I’m sure we’ve all overreacted one time or another. Especially when it’s all new to us!
