Wick is smaller than Tambor (1.5lbs, roughly the size of an American football) and he can jump 15-18in (height of his pen). I will note that some times it’s circumstantial and based on what I think your rabbit perceives at the correct height.

Wick can clear his pen when he really wants to be out, but some times he’ll jump for the bed or futon and end up slightly missing it because he’s underestimating the height. He really only jumps that high when it’s to get out of the pen. It’s a very specific scenario though; there needs to be something on the pen wall to make it look solid (hanging a towel there for shade). If nothing is hanging, he doesn’t try it.

Wick also contemplates landing and jumping-up spots carefully, and still hesitates at times. I think this is just normal rabbit behavior when it comes to cliffs.

He really face plants in all other scenarios lower than 18in though. I’d say unless Tambor looks injured, he’s probably quite normal? I cannot make guarantees though. I doubt you’ve given him the need to jump very high since you love him and wouldn’t scare him to such a degree!!

My Bombur(nethie) can clear 3+ feet jumps. But hes afraid of heights, which includes jumping unless hes absolutely terrified. He only really jumps a few inches at most when hes happy

My Badger(dwarf dutch) and Blue(mini rex) both like to jump and binky as high as possible. I would say Blue can get up to 2 feet and Badger a little over 1 foot

None of my 4 bunnies have jumped onto an item over 18 inches high. A previous bunny I had – Merlin – jumped around 3 foot high into the crook of a tree, and regularly hung out in it. Then he jumped out – not straight down, but out – and cleared 5 foot of ground distance easily. I was seriously impressed.

Winter weighs about same but is longer (Himalayan). She happily jumps 36 inches, don’t know how high she can go.

Licorice (Dutch) jumps at most a foot. I think he could go higher, he just doesn’t.

Bandit has no problem jumping 36 inches high.

3+ feet for both buns. We found that out when they kept jumping on the padded table from the floor, despite us saying no. I think Bleu can at least jump 4-5+ feet since he once jumped a fence *and* a good chunk of floor to get to the couch.

I think he just may not like the feeling of being off ground (like how some don’t like being picked up). Maybe just general instinct because he’s a prey animal. My jumper is an outgoing, unafraid rabbit and my timid one doesn’t do it much.

Wow, that’s impressive!  2 feet! Does he like jumping that hug or is it only when he has to?

Bluey absolutely loves jumping. He will binky as high as possible when hes super happy and he tries to jump onto things as high as possible. He loves to jump onto chairs and couches, and tries to jump onto tables (but fails). He can jump onto the back of our small couch and loves to perch up there I think he likes it because he can see much of the room
