  So I’ve had my bunny, Dewey, for about a few days now, and I noticed today that she has a reddish dot underneath her right eye, and that she has been kind of jerking her head occasionally after I pet her, or just in general. I’m a bit worried, because as a first-time bunny owner, I’m not sure if this is normal. Could someone help me answer this question??

  I checked your post for attachments and added the photo in for you. There is an Insert Image icon that you click on to do that.
  
  The eye doesn’t look too concerning but the head jerking seems a little odd. Is she jerking her head right after you pass your hand over her face? With a new pet, it’s always a good idea to get a wellness check done at the vet. Have you found a rabbit-savvy bet for Dewey as yet?
  
  Rabbits do have glands along the eyelids that may become blocked and that’s called a meibomian cyst. They appear white on the inner side of the lid. They can unblock by themselves but sometimes a vet may need to do it. Not sure if that’s what Dewey has or not. You’d need a vet to assess it.
