I know this is super early, but this will be our first Christmas with a bunny and I’m worried about our bunny chewing on the Christmas tree. We visit a Christmas tree farm every year and cut our own tree down and I’m sad to think we won’t be able to do it this year. I had thought about leaving off the lights or only putting the ornaments on the top 1/2, but I’m nervous the Pine needles or bark will make him ill. Our house really isn’t set up to ‘rope off’ the only spot a tree will fit either. Our bunny is free range, except for when we’re asleep, and so I can’t really see keeping him in an x pen for the whole month of December. If you celebrate Christmas, how do you deal with this?

We put a play pen around our tree. With cables, decorations and the tree itself, it’s just not safe
