We have had Bun Bun for 1 1/2 weeks now. We also have cats so I have kept them separate with a pen; Bun Bun’s cage and pen are close to my office so I just move it so she can come into my office when I am working so she has a room to run around in. She loves to race around behind my desks. Well this morning, I let her out of the cage, with the pen around it as usual. I go get my daughter ready for school, and walk around the corner, and there is Bun Bun sitting in the middle of the room. She just hops right passed a cat, who just stares at her. So I get her back in her cage until I get back from taking my daughter to school, let her out and watch to see how she escaped the pen. She puts her nose under the spot where they connect and lifts it up and down until it comes undone, then she hops on out to freedom. So freedom she got, the cats just run from her or try to sniff her butt whens he isn’t looking. Bun Bun just hops around like she owns the place. So much for slowly introducing them.
Bun Bun is almost 4 months old, still working on litter box training but she isn’t spayed yet since she isn’t old enough. But she is one smart bunny!
