        Hi All,

I have a question about clover. I’ve read that clover can cause stomach upset and give bunnies gas if fed to liberally, but I never know if they’re talking about clover flowers (which have some sugar in them) or clover leaves. My buns LOVE clover leaves but I’m never sure if they’re safe. Any ideas?

I haven’t heard that. Clover is high is protein. So, like alfalfa hay, it could be “too rich” for some bunnies and cause over production of cecals and poopy butt.

Clover should be fed in moderation, as it is a legyme.

Thanks for all the replies guys!
I think clover should probably be fed sparingly based on what I’ve been reading.
