  before sunn bun was spayed she was in love with her pellet food. however after spaying it’s like pulling teeth to get her to eat it. she still likes her dandilions,grass clippings and treat everyday. someone please give me some advice on how to get her started on the pellets again. (she is pooping and peeing fine)

  It took my doe a couple of weeks to get back to eating pellets with enthusiasm. I’d just keep offering them to her. If no luck, maybe try a different pellet.

  Spread pellets around and in her box with a few around her play area. This will encourage foraging and she will get a taste for them. Bandit was the same way

  It is pretty common, for some reason pellets are almost always the last thing a bun goes back to after a spay/neuter. As long as she has good quality hay and preferably fresh veg, there’s no rush.
