  Hello!
  
  My mum has recently used some chemicals on the grass apart from where the bunny pen is. She says to wait 2 weeks until we can move it again, but I am worried that the grass will still be bad for them. Any tips on getting them outside safely? I plan to move the pen to the patio or decking, so they can have a bit more of a run around.

  What sort of chemicals did she use? Some chemicals require a longer time, some a shorter time before reintroducing animals. However for me personally, even if the bottle or chemical data sheet said 2 weeks, I would still wait 1 month, and make sure it’s been watered in plenty etc.

  Just read the packet, it just says to wait until it dries until animals can be allowed on the treated grass. Not taking any risks, so I’ll wait for a few weeks. Xx

  I think with those things, they mean animals can walk on it safely etc, eating it I think is a whole other matter. When it’s still wet, a cat that walks through it may get it on their fur and lick it off which is dangerous, so it being dry is technically safe for walking through, but I doubt it’s the case for rabbits that will actually be eating it.
