I’m sorry to hear Nibbles is ill. I have no idea if this applies to buns, but if an animal is eating/drinking normally and still not getting enough nutrients, it makes me think of something parasitic that is taking away the nutrients that the animal ingests. What I learned in army medical is that any body will eat itself if it’s not getting nutrients. It could something such as genetic disorder the mat you have no control of, or like luna said there could be a parascyte. Have you tried making critical care paste? (Water and pellets in a syrange) in an attempt to try and force feed your bunny.

Muscle wasting can be a symptom of several illnesses. Sometimes there are pathological processes that consume lots of nutrients, sometimes it’s about poor uptake. Critical care fed by syringe would be a good place to start. It’s vital that she gets high quality food in easily digestible form. Did the vet give her sub q fluids?
