  So i have taken my bun to 2 vets now, one is an eye specialist. The eye doc told me my bun’s symptoms could only be caused by oscillating glaucoma, as the eye has signs of stretching, but he has never had an abnormal eye pressure reading other than the very first vet who had never done one on a bunny before. Here is the problem though, when i put the eye drops in for gloucoma it only seems to make the symptoms worse, more redness, and his eye gets bluer. His right eye was fine prior but the vet wanted me to put drops in both eyes even though the other was normal and now the right eye has a little blue in it. When my cat was diagnosed with glaucoma, when i put the drops in her eye, everything cleared up so im concerned the doc is wrong and i am just making things worse with the drops he gave me, but both vets say it has to be glaucoma.
  So i gues my question is, could it be anything else causing these symptoms or should i just trust the vets. They just dont seem to be sure and i dont want to cause my bunnys blindness by a bad diagnosis

  I can’t really say your vet could be making a bad decision. I would try going to the vet list here and get a second opinion. Call the vet and say you need to make an emergency checkup appointment same day if possible and bring any documentation and medicine he’s prescribed. It’s always good to have a second opinion as one doctor might vary from another

  The only other possible cause I can think of would be trauma to the eye. Sometimes if they scratch their cornea, fluid and swelling can cause the cornea to look cloudy and blue. However, I would think that if your vet thoroughly examined the eye then they would have seen the ulcer.
  
  What are the eye drops you were given. I know there are some people here who have personal experience with glaucoma in rabbits.

  We started with dorzolamide but due to eye irritation and symptoms seeming to get worse we switched to latanoprost but it seems to be having the same effect.

  Those are both medications for reducing the pressure in the eye. I think Latanoprost has been shown to be more effective. Either one can cause eye irritation as a side effect. I don’t know how common it is in rabbits. Hopefully someone has some personal experience with this.
  
  Without seeing a picture, my only other thought is an EC-induced cataract. Is the cornea itself blue? Or does the blue coloring appear to be deeper in the eye?

  Could it be possible your bunny is having a bad reaction, allergic reaction, to the eye drops?
  
  They just put my mom on eye drops to reduce her pressure and she is having a reaction of sore itchy eyes. She is allergic to many things though. Just a thought.
  
  Hope your bunny’s eyes are all better soon.
