I adopted my bunny over 3 months ago, he’s a 2 year old Holland Lop. When I got him he had multiple small crusty white scales on both ears. I took him to the vet and they said that he didn’t have mites, and after running a few pathology tests they couldn’t find anything wrong. The vet gave me oral and optic antibiotics and nothing changed. Months later and these scabs haven’t gone away. There’s actually new ones in different spots. What could be wrong with his ears?? I’m hoping someone has an idea..

It sounds like mites or ring worm to me. If they say he doesn’t have ring worm either, I’d get a second opinion at a different vet.

On the outside or inside of the ears? Can you post a picture?
