I finally took a trip to lowe’s yesterday, thought it was time I start using a $5 40lb bag of litter instead of a $15 25lb bag!! I’m just a little concerned, before I start using them I wanted to get some help!! I’m pretty sure there are no chemicals or accelerates used but as I said i’ve never used wood pellets before- so I just wanted to be sure. I’ll attach a picture of the bag, also I’ve looked on the website, and it looks like they sell it with a different bag (and that one says no chemicals added) michiganwoodpellets.com is the website!! Please let me know what you guys think especially if you’ve used this brand before!! are they safe to start using?? thanks guys

I use carefresh personally it’s a paper litter that bandit does not eat and it’s easy to clean and super absorbent. For his xpen cage I have a very large corner litter box and after he uses it and is outside I put a small handful over the droppings and urine to allow him to use it multiple times. I basically clean out his litter every 2 days and he hasn’t had any problems.

I would highly suggest watching videos from 101rabbits or stormy rabbits regarding litter as they are very informative. Eventually I’ll out my hat into the ringbfor YouTube but it will more or less be about bandit than rabbit care

As long as their are no additives I believe it should be fine, never heard of them as I’m from the uk so can’t offer advice!

Would your bun be able to access these and possibly eat them? That would be my concern with any wood stove pellets, just incase.
