I love love love Charlie, but oh my she is driving me CRAZY. Her behavior is wild. she chews and digs on my bed – or any fabric (her blankets, etc), she’s impossible to put away at night, and refuses to be picked up. She has a sherpa bag for vet visits that I originally put in her room the night before her first appt. so she would get used to it, but she LOVES the thing so i haven’t taken it out. She’s started shredding the wool (or whatever) is on the bottom of it and ripping the lining off of it. I tried to take it away but she lost her mind so I put it back. I put a huge box with a cut out for a door in thinking she would hide in that instead but she tore the room apart – carpet was all rearranged, box was tipped up…etc. and when i first brought it in she stomped for like 10 minutes. I left her with it today and she did the same thing – carpet all over the place and on and on. I’ve been putting treats inside to try to make her like it more but she seems indifferent. I want to get her to like it so I can remove her sherpa bag so she’ll stop shedding it.
She’s also been acting CRAZY. it’s like every little noise freaks her out some days and I so t get it. she’s super skiddish and looks so freaked out sometimes. She eats drinks and poops normally so I’m not sure what’s up, and when she’s in bed with me she’s her usual sweet playful self – until I pick her up.
This is all over the place but I guess I’m just concerned with her changing attitude. She used to be the sweetest little thing and fairly calm but is so much more freaked out and seemingly high strung. Do you think this is all due to her hormones? I can’t get her in for an appointment until mid May to be fixed, but there is a date on the calendar. I just want to do right by her and sometimes feel like I’m doing something wrong to have her go from being so good to so different now
and some cute Charlie pics for good measure (when she’s being sweet to her mama)
