I have had bunnies and birds together for years. Finches, parakeets and a cockatiel. Never had any problems. The one thing to be cautious about are seeds falling to the floor. Seeds are not good for rabbits. A few wouldn’t be detrimental but try to arrange it so there is no issue. My newest bunny has **issues** with noises like the chime of the microwave or the air conditioner but the current chorus of birds doesn’t bother him at all. Of course all rabbits are different…..

How has he been acting so far, in the same room?

Lop ear rabbits don’t have as good hearing as other rabbits, so the noise may not bother him too much.

Birds can be stressful, but from my experience it is more squawking noises that are more stressful to them. We had a large parrot in the same room as our pair. She can be very chatty and make lots of noise, but I find it doesn’t affect them. Unless she is squawking/screaming loudly then it does upset them. I think it’s more alarm than anything, but the noise can’t be pleasant since it hurts my ears too. Fortunately it’s only a once or twice a day thing for about 5 seconds so it’s not a huge deal.
