We are so sad we found our bunny, Dandylion dead today. We noticed fur loss on the back of her neck a few days ago and then we found her dead today. She was a lop with very long fur, seemed pretty healthy she was less than a year old
. I thought maybe she was molting. Has anyone experienced this? we are so sad and not sure what happened…. -

Sometimes a cause of death remains unknown, even after autopsy. So it really comes down to speculation…
Can you tell us a bit more about her habitat? Was she an indoor or outdoor rabbit?
Are you in a part of the world where there are viruses that infect rabbits or are there a lot of predators or poisonous insects?Perhaps she had a congenital heart condition that was not known…
