Hello all!
I’ve decided to seek some advice on my two bonded bunnies! I successfully bonded my two rabbits Luna and snickers (of course spayed and neutered) around October November after trying on and off for 1 1/2 years! Whew! The actual bonding this time around was quite boring there wasn’t much mounting or fighting they pretty much just accepted each other and eventually Snickers started to groom his new lady. But lately they haven’t been aggressive with each other but to us and the other pets(cats are their favorite). Mostly Snickers is the one to charge at and attack the cats and or us when we put our hands out by him. He was always a quiet shy rabbit who didn’t crave human attention at all, unlike Luna who loves people. Now Luna is starting to be standoffish with people when before she would always be right there to greet you as soon as you walk into the room. I’m not sure if I could/should separate them for a little to see how they act alone and to see if that would help Luna come back out of her shell. I’m really not sure on how to help Snickers aggression, because I feel like it’s rubbing off on Luna and I don’t want both of my rabbits to be so aggressive you can’t touch them? I appreciate any and all help! Thank you!
