Is fox urine safe and effective to deter my bunnies from pooping & peeing on the floor? They are both adult bunnies, who both have been ‘fixed.’ There’s two particular corners in my house where they like to potty. I tried adding litter boxes there, but then they would go both in the litter boxes,  AND on the floor. We recently had our wood floors completely sanded down and restrained, so I don’t imagine there’s not any kind of scent left there. Apparently t’s just a comfortable spot for them to potty. I’ve tried everything I have researched, except for fox urine. It’s used for wild bunnies, but I can’t find anything about using it for domestic bunnies. Seems like it wouldn’t be harmful to them. I’d just put a little on a cotton ball & set it in the places they’re using as potties. Let me know if anyone has any info on this.

Have you tried confining them in a smaller play area til they are litter trained?

Hi Paige, thanks of your reply! I’ve had these bunnies for years. They were rescues, living in cages when I got them. They were confined at first when I got them, and when I bonded them. It really is just those 2 spots that they’re pottying in, so I feel like there’s a simple solution to deter them from those two spots. It’s just not simple find out what that solution is.

Are they fixed? If they are, I would try adding bigger litter boxes to those two spots. I dont think fox urine would smell any better than a rabbits
