Hi! I want to make my bunny some safe chew toys.. I already have the safe wood covered but need help with bunny safe paint because I would like to paint them. I know water based soy paint by the brand Delta is a good paint but they’re so hard to come across online and in store.. Are there any alternatives that are safe if injested by my bunny? Please help! Thank you!

Did you want paints or dyes? I haven’t heard of any diy bunny safe paints yet but there are plenty of diy dyes made out of fruits that are safe

I know there is pet safe paint for things like wood hutches, but I do not know of any paint that is safe if ingested from chewing.

I’m looking for paints! There was actually a bunny safe (edible/ingestable) paint before, it was Delta Soy paint. It was non-toxic and I think water based, I used it for toys before and small bunny shops actually used it too but it’s been recalled or discontinued and very hard to find… Thats why I came here to see if there’s any other safe paints to paint toys with. I might use diy food dye but I can’t really do cute designs with it.
