  Luna got her first nail clipping by me over with!! We did it!! I first tried putting her on a rug on the kitchen counter like the video on utube, that didn’t go so well, so then we did the bunny burrito and we go her done!! It went way better than I was expecting it to, but will hopefully get smoother the more we do it. The previous times the vet has done them but I figured I might as well do them instead of stressing her out taking her to the vet.. Just wanted to share because no one else would probably understand my excitement over conquering the first nail clipping

  Yay! My Luna escapes the burrito so I’m glad your Luna takes well to it. Definitely makes nail clipping so much easier.

  I’m not sure if I got them short enough, but I didn’t even want to take a chance of quicking her especially the first time doing it! I’m just glad it went better than I was expecting because I had been putting it off! She actually still let me pet her when I put her down so that mad me feel better too.

  When I first started trimming Luna’s nails I knicked her quick a couple times (tip: a dab of flour on the nail stops the bleeding). She has dark nails, so now I use a light to shine it through her nails so that I can see the quick clearly.

  I can cut Winter’s nails fine. Licorice…. I celebrated over cutting five nails, and none except two were on the same paw. :p
