        Hey guys,

I have a painter’s drop cloth that’s kind of thick (not the usual plastic ones actual cloth) for her to lay on. The problem is that she’s gotten accustomed to chewing through the cloth in parts and got herself stuck tonight. I guess I came home in the nick of time to see her struggling with her head stuck.  This has happened once before, but I was able to hold the cloth while she backed her head out of the hole.  Should I keep this cloth, or throw it away? It’s still usable and not stained, and washed thoroughly weekly.  I could always cut through some of the holes I guess, but wanted to see what you guys would do in this situation.

        Andrew

Well, since it’s not the first time she’s chewed and poked through, I’d say it’s a given that you remove it. Next time you might not be as lucky and a panicky bunbun can get seriously hurt

Are there fibres in the cloth? Or else you could put something on top of the cloth (fleece) to tempt her from eating that one.
Yes. Remove the holes. And possibly the cloth too…. or prevent her from chewing it somehow….

I’d not trust tough, woven fabric, to be honest. If she eats threads it could end badly. Fleece is safer in that respect, but she could of course get stuck if she made a hole in fleece as well.
