I just got a new baby holland lop last Saturday (I’ve had her for 6 days now). The past two nights, I noticed her whole body twitching repeatedly as she was laying down. The twitching only lasted 15 seconds or so, but I’m worried that something is wrong with her? She doesn’t seem to be in pain at all and she lets me pet her when it happens which seems to stop it (could be a coincidence?). Other than the twitching, she seems to be acting completely normal and pretty happy in her new home. I caught it on video the second time it happened – earlier tonight – so I’m hoping this will be helpful! Here’s the link to it on Youtube, it wouldn’t let me upload it directly sorry!

Sort of looks like the hiccups to me.

Yes I agree that it looks rather like the hiccups. She seems very well, alert and coordinated etc, so just seems like hiccups to me.

Looks just like when my bun has hiccups I rub her throat and she stops. My vet said it was nothing to be concerned with as long as she wasn’t having any digestive issues

My bun often has hiccups, it could be this. She also twitches a lot when she sleeps, like she’s dreaming. Are you sure she wasn’t asleep?
