On Wednesday my beautiful bunny Summer died. She left behind her brother Ollie. They are litter mates and have never spent a day in their whole five years apart. Ollie is eating very well, and is pooping and peeing well also. He is drinking a few times a day, but probably only a half a cup or 3/4 of a cup. I don’t think he was ever a big water drinker but it’s definitely noticeable since we would refill the water bowls often when his sister was around. I think I’m just being paranoid about the water. But he is doing very well. We even saw him flop yesterday! 

The only thing he seems to be doing that is odd is he is grooming himself a lot. Summer used to spend hours grooming him so we aren’t sure if this is just him cleaning himself now that she’s gone or him acting out because he’s grieving. How much grooming is too much grooming? I am just so worried about him and don’t want to lose another bunny.
