Sorry for the pictures – we’re all used to inspecting bunny poop though

Charlie seems to have gone through another bout of gas tonight – I’m starting to think its cilantro. She seemed uncomfortable and I heard a tiny bit of gargling in her stomach. I tried to give her gas drops but she wouldn’t really take them. I put a little bit on a dehydrated banana and apple and she ate them so I’m assuming she got at least a little bit of the medicine into her.

She’s back to pooping and getting more interested in her hay but I just saw this poop – does this look normal? Is it likely from the bout of gas? The rest of her poop seems fine, just this little bit

        it almost looked foamy

        thanks!

Mucus as a rule means the intestines are irritated. The intestines then produce mucus to protect themselves. The poop itself looks nicely formed, so it’s not diarrhea. I’d keep a close eye. If she stops eating/ doesn’t get back to eating normal amounts very soon or if there’s more mucosy poop, I’d contact my vet.
