I rescued a 4 month old bunny today from a shelter and she has a lot of mats in her fur. What is the best way to get them out without causing her unnecessary stress? I was told she is a lionhead/angora mix.

Thank you! Is this safe to use around her ears? She has a lot of matsmting around the back of her ears towards the back of her head.
