I have two boys, Lee and Boo, both 1 year olds. For the first 3 months they were the cutest pair of buns ever! They would do everything together until that one day when I woke up to find fur everywhere in my living room. We separated them afterwards, but there have been a couple of instances where the door was left open or the cage wasn’t locked properly and they’ve fought viciously, at least for a couple of seconds. The first time they fought was in last June and they have been living separately in different rooms since then. We exchange their cages and rooms as well. They used to become more aggressive, I think because of the smell of the other. We got them neutered on 30th December and since then I’ve seen quite a few changes in their behavior. They are a lot more calmer and seem a bit sad too about not having a company. I really want them to get along with each other, but I am afraid of them getting into a fight again if I place them together. What should I do? And how do I start with this process? Thanks in advance.
