        Hi all,
My little bunny Martha is due to be spayed on Monday. She is extremely nervous and runs away when I go near here. She is newly rescued and isn’t getting used to me and the new surroundings yet. Does anyone have any tips of how I can keep an eye on her wound without distressing her. My little male bunny was no problem when he was neutered 2 years ago. He let me pick him up and check his stitches.

If she’s free-roaming, block off all nook and crannies she could go hide in (under furniture, places you can’t reach easily), so that she’ll dwell only in sheltered spots that you can inspect easily

When you need to directly check her wound you could try to lure her with a treat so that she stands up on her hind legs and expose her belly
