she doesn’t hate you. But rabbits dont like to be picked up so if you’re trying to pick her up she’s probably afraid that’s what you’re going to do every time you go up to her. She’s small and you’re big to her so she’s scared of you naturally. Sit on the floor and let her come to you. Don’t chase her around the room – that’s a sure way to break any bond you have. It takes a long time but you really have to be willing to do things on her terms – let her come to you and it’ll pay off in the end. get her comfortable with you petting her and get her comfortable with walking around on you and then you can work on trying to hold her

I’ve had my bunny for about a month and a handful of days, and she was born in November.

sometimes she lets me pick her up out of the cage, but other times she runs into the hide away hole, and yesterday I let her out into the living room to run around and when it was time to get her and put her up, she ran under the couch and when I moved the couch, she’d move far enough under it so that I couldn’t reach her, then I would have my hands on her and she’s run again.

My room isn’t bunny proof yet, so I’ve been letting her on my bed. **I’m there the whole time I don’t leave her alone** and today I was lying on the bed with her and she was resting at my head and let me pet her, and I noticed that she was getting very comfortable, she was sprawled out and got very close to falling asleep. Then, she’d get onto my bed side table and I got up from my computer chair to get her off and when I got almost to her she ran off of the table so fast she knocked some stuff off of it. And when it was time to put her back up, I’d get to her on one side of the bed and she ran from me to the other side, and kept doing it until I finally got her.

I don’t understand what I’m doing (or not doing) to make us not bond together, I want her to come to me and be cuddly and crap.

You can’t force her to be cuddly, if that isn’t her personality, you need to accept that. Bunnies don’t like being picked up, there are exceptions but as a rule, rabbits like having all 4 paws on something solid and being picked up scares them. 

Bunnies as a rule absolutely hate it when you pick them up. In the wild, getting picked up off the ground means you’re about to become somebody’s dinner. So your bun’s reaction is perfectly normal and sound and doesn’t mean she doesn’t like you. You are just challenging her deepest survival-instincts.

Most buns do like to be pet though – they actually tend to love it. Esp head-and nose-rubs. So that’s something she most likely wants you to do – but in the bunny universe, its’ the bunny that decides when it’s a good time. My Bam is intensely cuddly in the evenings, but if I try to pet him more than just briefly during the day (his siesta-hours, from about 11 am to 6 pm), he hops away.

Sometimes we do have to lift our bunnies up – for nail-clipping and the weekly “health-check”, and buns can learn to tolerate that, but it takes lots of time. Always reward with a treat when you’ve picked up your rabbit so she associates it with something that isn’t completely horrible.

I tryed to sit by my bunny but she attacks and bites me

I’ve had 2 bunnies. The first, he was a mini godzilla. He bit me so many times and he would always run away from me or attack and growl. He lived 8 years, may he rest in peace! The bunny I have now is a sweet little angel who nudges me constantly wanting to be pet and cuddled with. She has never bit me, just a sweetie. So, just depends i guess, there may be nothing you can do. Just accept your bun for who they are and love ’em anyway!
