My bunny, Alfie, was taken ill with suspected e- cunicili on Monday – after a night in the emergency vets and several days with my usual vet he is showing some signs of improving – his head tilt seems less severe than previously and his eyes were constantly flickering which seems to have stopped – he’s running around like his usual happy self but he’s now started to fall over which he wasn’t doing before – in so many ways he has improved greatly since his initial admission to the vets (head not tilting/twitching as much, he can run in straight lines now whereas previously he could only run in circles, he’s eating and pooping (albeit not as much as when he wasnt poorly) – But this is the first time he’s lost his balance so much that he’s started to fall over – just wanted to know if anyone has had similar experiences? He’s been at the vets all day today and they let me take him home as he showed no signs of anything they were concerned about – I just feel like his falling over is a step backwards despite such positive improvements in other areas?
