Oxbow is an excellent brand and at that age those pellets should be a-okay. Just make sure you do the transition slowly — mix the old food with new food, gradually increase the percentage of new food… Bunnies have very sensitive stomachs so that’s important.

They’re younger buns, and I’m assuming they’re not yet litter trained, so yes, that’s to be expected when holding them in your lap for awhile. My rabbits are both over a year old and never do so as they’re litter trained, so once yours are that should go away.

The cubes are fine. Just be aware they’re likely to make a mess! Also — hay cubes are okay, but alfalfa cubes are more like treats and should be given in moderation.

All depends on how large your rabbits are. It’s generally around 4 – 6 months, four being for smaller buns. I’m not sure about the Bay area, sorry.

Are your rabbits eating hay besides the cubes? Rabbits need to have hay available to them 24 hours a day. At their age, they could have alfalfa hay, or you could start also giving them some timothy or orchard grass or any of the grass hays.

You didn’t say what gender your rabbits are, but in any case, they should be separated before they are 12 weeks old. Many rabbits have been misidentified when it comes to gender, even vets have gotten it wrong sometimes. Even if they are the same sex and there is no worry about litters, rabbits can become aggressive and territorial when puberty hits, and that can cause fighting. Rabbits can severely injure each other if they fight. They are together now, I assume, and bonded since they are babies, but you will have to go through the bonding process again after their surgeries and a few weeks recuperation time.
