  I’ve been sitting with Chomondeley and his behavior has been worrying me.
  He keeps flopping for a short period of time and then getting up, like he isn’t able to flop.
  Also he has not eaten his dinner???
  Help please.

  I offered him parsley but he did not eat it.
  Early today he was playing with a toilet paper roll and chewed some of it. Is cardboard harmful?? Please help

  Cardboard is not harmful. But he might have gas and can’t get comfy. Is he molting? That can cause tummy upset. Try simethicone (baby gas drops – a few drops every hour for three hours… you can’t OD a bun on it, so eyeball it). And tummy massage helps the drops work even better – or get him to run and play to help pass the gas bubbles (((Chom)))

  I think it could be gas as well. Try what Q8 suggests. If he doesn’t feel better after awhile, then he may need to go to the vet.

  The repeated shifting of position is a common indicator that he isn’t able to get comfy because of pain. I hope that he is doing a little better now and that you have managed to get him to eat something.

  Thank you so much you guys. He ate his food and the veggies I left him, he seems okay now. I did let him out of his Xpen to run around and he even binkied so perhaps it could’ve been gas. Thank you again for your advice. I’m going to keep an eye on him to make sure he’s still acting okay.

  Thank you so much. He seems to be acting normal again, thank goodness. I was really worried there. But he seems totally fine now.
