Hey guys,
A few months ago, we got a rabbit whose name is Jasper and is now nine months old.
About four weeks ago, he had a few days were he didn’t leave his hut at all and any time we even looked at him when he was eating or anything, he’d run back into his hut. From this, we figured he was depressed or something so we got rid of his outer cage, got carpet for the tiles so he could walk around more, varied his diet with fruits and stuff and got a load of toys which certainly improved things.
However, there is some days where he seems a little off still and with my college becoming more involved, everyone else being more busy and my mum thinking of going back to work, I’m wondering is/will he be lonely? There are some days where no one really gets to interact with him and it seems really awful so would the getting of a second bunny help with all this?
I’m read mixed answers online, people saying yes, people saying no, some saying wait a while.
Was hoping you peoples would be able to give me a hand in figuring it out.
Thanks,
James
