Okay I know this isn’t a serious issue,  or an issue at all really but I am curious!

Peanut will eat pretty much anything from my hands – if it’s something he likes obviously. Yet all he does when I have mint leaves in my hand is give them a good sniff. The first few nights, after him not taking them from my hand, I left them out for him overnight and they were gone by morning. On the 4th night, he refused them from my hands but ate them as soon as I put them down. So he definitely likes the taste of them.

The obvious answer would be maybe he doesn’t like the smell of my hands but each time he happily ate sunflower petals or carrot from them! THEN last night, bf tried feeding him the mint leaves, Peanut ate one from his hand and then didn’t touch the rest til they were put down on his ramp lol.

Buttercup of course practically inhales them whether I hand feed or not

Sounds like Peanut is playing favorites  or trying to get you jealous so that you give him even more lovings than you already do! Buns are so adorably devious.

Ellie does this too. She won’t take spinach from me but if my boyfriend tries she’ll snatch it right from him. Sheesh I think the buns are just being silly.

Bam sometimes won’t take some greens from my hand. I think he’s waiting for me to offer him something yummier (and I admit, I have been inclined to do just that, so it’s my fault). When I put the green in question drown for him, he will eat it.

If he’s really hungry, he rips greens out of my hand, but when he’s not really hungry, more like just hoping for a snack, he can be reluctant..

My dog does a bit of the same thing, if I only give her kibble, she doesn’t eat it at once but waits a little while to see if I’ll add some fresh meat or something. If I don’t, she eats her kibble after a minute or so.
