Hi guys,
As you may remember, Buttercup had some large double poops about a week or so ago. She also had a couple of teeny ones. After a few days, her faeces seemed normal, but today I’ve noticed that there is one odd shaped one, and quite a few teensy ones. They are also darker in colour. When her and Peanut first started on green oat grass a few weeks back, the poops significantly darkened but then gradually became a more golden brown colour. Buttercup’s are now darkened again. Peanut’s, although they did become golden brown, have darkened up again too and they are small in size. They were smaller after his surgery and gradually got close to normal size but they seem on the smaller size again. Though his ‘small ones’ are bigger than Buttercup’s smallest poops.
I know I’m probably worrying over nothing and it could very well be the effects of their recent-ish surgeries but can anyone offer any other thoughts on the matter? I’m posting a pic (apologies if it’s too large, I’m on my tablet!) of the poops I found in Buttercup’s litter tray and as you can see there are a couple normal sized but very dark ones, some tiny ones and one odd shaped one. They are both eating a good amount of their grass, but have possibly had more dried dandelion and dried nettle than normal today and yesterday.
