  Hello everybody. I have a problem with my bunny and since I’m from Saudi Arabia, we don’t have a lot of good vets or animals care centers, so I want to share the problem with you hoping to get some advices from you.
  
  My bunny is less than a year old and she was fine and happy until she got diagnoses with GI stasis. She started limping with her left hind leg. After I took her to the vet, she finally recover from the gi stasis and she seems pretty fine, walking and standing on her legs but unfortunately it was for one day (I think because of the pain relief medication) and after that her hind leg started hurting her and she can’t step on that leg. So I took her back to the vet and after the x ray, we found that the space between the hind leg and the joint of left back side is narrowing more than the right back side. So the vet said that there is nothing we can do to her.
  
  I don’t want to give up and her vet is not answering my questions. Do you think there is a solution for her? Is there any safe pain relief medication that I can use with her since she is less than a year old? I will appreciate any advice with this case.

  Your little girl is going through a hrd time, but there may be something that will help.
  You could try another vet to ask if they agree, just to make sure. I am wondering is a medication like those used for chronic arthritis on older bunnies might be possible for gentle relief. Does it hurt her to walk on it? If it makes her disabled there are little carts that support the hind legs that disabled bunnies have used. A website called CATS AND RABBITS AND MORE has a section devoted to the care of disabled and geriatric bunnies where you might get some specific suggestions.
  I am only familiar with metacam pain medication and don’t know how long you can keep ayoung bunny on it. That’s why a second vet might know a few more mild pain relievers you can use. Don’t give up hope.

  Thank you very much. I’m still trying to find another vet who knows about rabbits.
  My bunny can barely walk right now, she can’t step on her left hind leg as it hurts her which is a sign of Arthritis. So I’m between two options right now until I find another good vet. The first one is using joints support supplement so maybe it can help her a little or I will go with the second option which is building her a cart to help her to walk.
