Buffy is quite demanding. She thumps when she’s scared, like when she hears loud cars outside or helicopters overhead (which makes sense), but lately she’s taken to thumping at every mild annoyance.
My partner left the house for a doctor’s appointment earlier today. She ran around looking for him and thumping.
The other day, a friend of ours came around, left for thirty minutes to go on a food run, and then came back. She thumped angrily at him when he came back and snubbed him until he made it up to her with pats. He’s her favourite person (she goes crazy for flamboyant gay men, go figure), and we think she was mad that he left
Yesterday, I took her outside in her playpen. She thumped after about thirty minutes, which I took to mean that she wanted back inside, but when she got back in, she ran around for about five minutes, thumping like crazy.
Does this indicate a problem? I think she’s just a bit of a diva, but I want to be sure. Do any of you guys have especially thumpy rabbits?
EDIT: Whoops, put this in the wrong section! Could one of the mods please move it to behavior? Sorry!
