  So the good news is Thumper is eating and drinking, I can definitely tell that she’s still uncomfortable because she’s a lot slower than usual, but the thing is is that she refuses to take the meta-cam ! yesterday I trief to administer it to her and I got it all over her fur! I didn’t get it in her mouth at all she jumps and nips and grunts and gets really mad! she hates me !yesterday she bit my husband because he was petting her in the cage and She actually drew blood, i’m not mad because we know that she’s uncomfortable after her spay, and probably just wanted to be left alone. she’s definitely Nippy and a little beotchier ?if I can say that. I’m assuming it’s because of her hormones and being uncomfortable ! I really hope she becomes my sweet bunny again! i’m going to have to try to give her medication On her arugula today to see if she’ll eat it that way. my question is what happens if she doesn’t take it? How long does it take for her to recover and feel more like herself again ?

  Has Thumper had grapes before? If so, you could try putting metacam inside a hollowed out grape. If she won’t take it on the arugula.
  
  I’m sure once she’s feeling better she’ll go back to being a lovely bunny again. I got the bunny butt and stink eye from Buttercup for a day or two. If Thumper is eating and drinking normally then she’s already on the right track to being herself again.

  No she’s never had grapes, I’ll try the arugula and then try grapes if that doesn’t take. what if she won’t eat the arugula because the medicine is on it? will anything happen to her if she doesn’t take the medicine?

  Hmm I’m not sure, I suppose if you’re worried about her not taking the arugula you could always feed her multiple leaves with just a tiny dot of the medicine on each. It should be too small an amount for the taste to be too detectable. She might like the taste though, Buttercup did! She’d lick the bowl after eating the lettuce!
  
  If she doesn’t take any of the medicine then she may be in pain and uncomfortable which could of course lead to loss of appetite. If that happens, you could perhaps get the vets to do a pain killer injection?

  She is been very energetic and playful when we let her out of her cage so she doesn’t seem like she’s into much pain I know for a fact there’s no way she got any medicine last night it all ended up on her fur, actualku maybe she did have some of her medicine because she probably licked It off her fur! She was cleaning herself after Lol!

  I wonder if squirting it on her paws would work?

  Omg genius! She had a couple bites of the arugula but then looked at me and basically said F you and then won’t eat anymore of it! tonight I’m going to try squirting it on her paws!!! Lol!

  Smart! I got her to eat the arugula yay! I hand fed it to her and she finally warmed up to it! I hope she was able to ingest most of the medicine Because some of it got on my finger as I was feeding her lol
