  Good evening everyone, i have a question about my Bun Jelly. She got spayed on 09DEC2016; i have check her wound 2-3 times a day and i notice today that she have some light yellow crust on her incision, is she prone to getting an infection ? Im afraid that she might have an infection and my vet doc that did the surgery is open in 8 hours. Shes been perfectly normal eating drinking water and eating her hay. I am asking for opinion from you guys and of course i will call the vet tomorrow once they open. Her fur has been growing back quickly where the vet had shaved for the spayed.. Here is the pictures of Jelly incision.
  
  Is this sign of my Jelly getting an infection? I am really worried about her if its an infection or not!

  It doesn’t really look like infection. Infection tends to look worse, with more swelling and redness and often some necrosis and other really nasty signs. Infections also smell bad. How is her general, overall behavior? Appetite, toiletting, alertness, things like that.

  Oh okay i thought she was prone to infection. she is very Alert her appetiting is normal she eats drinks her water everyday including her hay and she loves to play with her living treat toys including her treat ball. She uses her litter box everyday and goes to the toilet herself. She comes to me when i call her name. Also her behavior is normal nothing havent change yet

  As i said, it doesn’t look so bad to me, but it’s difficult to tell from a picture of course. Her normal behavior is another indicator of everything being fine. It takes 2 weeks for a girl to heal fully.
  
  If it were me I think I’d still call the vet when they open just to calm my nerves if nothing else =)
