Ella is a smaller bunny, just about two pounds and she is 11 months. I always worry if I am feeding her too much or too little.
Typically, she eats 1 tablespoon of pellets in the morning and another at night. She has proven to be picky about what veggies she likes so she normally also has romaine (about a cup or a little more) in the morning, and another cup of veggies at night – her favorite is cilantro. I do switch up her veggies each week but I don’t think she likes to try new things. She also has tons of hay – of course.
She will get an occasional snack of carrots or a fruit every now and then but not very often and not everyday. Should a small fruit snack be an everyday thing?
What does a typical day of feed your rabbits look like?
Does it seem like I should be feeding her more or less?
I have read a lot about what rabbits eat and also talked to my vet but it is nice to hear about what other people do! Especially since Ella is my first bunny and we’ve only been together for about three months.
THANKS!
