I have a bunny who is less than 7 months old. I am a first time bunny owner. I took him to the vet Sunday  because he refused to eat all weekend and Friday. On Friday he was pooping cecal pellets at night and ever since then he hasn’t been the same, no eating, no drinking and always wanting to lay around. He gets scared when we get close to him when we want to pet him. I’ve also been noticing that he does want to eat because on Saturday, he was chewing on a banana and he kind of spit it all out. And when he is laying around he moves his mouth a lot, like if he were eating something and makes a weird movement with his head as if he were either choking or having a hard time swallowing. So I took him to the vet Sunday, and they gave him x-rays and examined him. Apparently they saw a ball of gas in his stomach and gave me a critical car package to string feed him. I made a following appointment to have his teeth checked because maybe his teeth could have been the problem. So, yesterday I took him to get an oral check and a teeth trim, hoping after this he would be back to his normal self and back to eating. But I was wrong, today, as my family took the bunny out of his cage in the morning I noticed something strange. His mouth and under his nose area was all wet. It is all dry now but that concerned me. Later today, I’ve noticed that he still continues to make the movement with his head where it seems like he is choking or having a hard time swallowing and when he does that he moves around and looks lost. I also continuously hear some kind of noise from his mouth and his nose sounds like when someone is sick. If he were to be sick, I haven’t seen him sneeze or anything and I also don’t think that could possibly be the reason why he has decided to not eat anymore….

I’m starting to get concern because, I’m losing money by all these visits to the vet and no resolution. I have ran out of ideas of what could possibly be wrong… I miss him running around being curious and biting onto things. He pees and poos but his poos are not all the normal size, a few are tiny little circles and the rest are the normal. Every time I pick him up from the vet I think he is better and I’m actually starting to think he is just getting worse. Help!!!! what can it possibly be? or what shall I do?
